2. Do you have a weekend batch?

Yes. Classes are conducted every Saturday & Sunday, 6 hours per day.

 

3. Do you have a correspondence MBA programme?

Yes we do. All the course material will be provided, along with a minimum of 8 contact sessions for doubt clearing, and exam support. The course fee for this programme is much lower than the other two programmes.

 

4. Will there be any difference in the certificates of MBA Regular, Weekend and Correspondence courses?

No, the Certification and Examination will be same. But all these three programmes have been designed for different groups of people whose needs are different.
  1. MBA Regular: For the fresher, or graduate without work experience, who needs to understand management in a lot more detail
  2. MBA Weekend: For the working professional, who can find time only on weekends.
  3. MBA Correspondence: For the working professional, who can’t even afford weekends. They can prepare on their own, without any guidance.

 

5. But then, isn’t the total delivery hours in Weekend batch, less than regular MBA?

Yes, it is. But we don’t offer dual certification in the weekend MBA, and the course fee is much lower than regular MBA.

 

6. What type of placement assistance is provided at the end of the programme?

We have tie-ups with various corporate companies for our programmes such as HDFC, Reliance, Triesta Science, etc. It’s our responsibility to assist you with getting a good job at the end of the programme. To that end, we have arranged a full-time placement and corporate relations team.

 

7. What would be the total programme hours?

It will be approximately 1600 hours of classroom delivery excluding projects and assignments.

 

8. Who would be the faculties for this programme?

The faculties are from reputed institutes across India like IIM, IISc etc, with extensive experience in their respective subject, and having more than 10 years of teaching experience.

 

9. Minimum class attendance percentage required for the programme?

80%

 

10. Is project work included in the programme?

Yes, there will be project work at the end of each year.

 

11. Is the certificate you are providing recognize by UGC / AICTE?

Yes. The certificate will be awarded by MS University, Tamil Nadu, which is recognize by UGC. MS University functions under the laws and guidelines of the Indian government, and doesn’t require any AICTE approval.

12. Will it be run in semester, trimester, or yearly pattern?

As per MS University, it is a yearly pattern.

 

13. Will there be external exam venue or internal?

It will be communicated by the university before the exam calendar is announced.

 

14. How will the marks be split between internal & external (exam & project)?

External 80% and Internal 20%.

 

15. When the exam will be held?

Exams are in December every year.

 

16. Is there any entrance test, test score like MAT, XAT and GD/PI?

No. The selection criteria is entirely based on candidate's application and a personal interview.

 

17. What would be the pattern of the exam - online or paper-based?

Written, paper-based exams.

 

18. If I go for a break, how can that be covered?

You can always be in touch with our professors and course coordinators to catch up on the lectures you’ve missed.

 

19. What about the study material?

All the study material will be provided by us.

 

20. What about the Library?

We have boast of a vast collection of books both in our physical and online library.

 

21. What would be the mode of study (Online, ILT and VC?)

50% ILT (Instructor Let Training), and 50% VC for Regular MBA 100% ILT for weekend MBA.

 

22. What is a VC class and how will a student be guided over VC class?

VC stand for Virtual Classroom, where a professor delivers the lecture from one location and it is transmitted to all our locations through high end internet lease line and the latest Polico technology. The professor can see the entire class room and you can also see the professor teaching like the normal class room. There is both way audio and video connectivity and also the scope of sharing PPTs, videos, etc, which has become a necessity at the top notch B-schools.

 

23. What are some of the advantages of a VC class?

24. Will there be any technical issues because of simultaneous delivery of professor’s lecture to multiple locations?

No. We’ve been using this technology since a couple of years, and have managed to conduct very successful classes, without technical hassles.

 

25. If there is any technical error in my location how will the content be delivered?

Our experience in dealing with technical errors effectively has resulted in 98% uptime for all our courses. We rarely experience major technical issues. However, in a worst-case scenario, a back-up class can be arranged.

 

26. Can the course fee be paid in installments?

Yes.

 

27. Is bank loan facility available?

Yes from HDFC & Cedilla.

 

28. What is the timeline for applying?

By 31st July you’d have to complete all the admission procedures. Class commences from 16th August.

 

29. Will I get the money back if I am not satisfied with the course?

No.

 

30. In the fee structure you have not mentioned the exam fee, what would be the approx. exam fee?

Each year the exam fee notification comes from MS University.

 

31. Do you offer any scholarships?

No. Our programme fee is already competitive and less than most other institutes in the market.

 

32. What are the eligibility criteria?

Graduate from any stream / Final year graduate students.

 

33. Is there any age limit?

No.

 

34. Is there any seat limitation?

Yes, we can only accommodate up to 20 students in one batch which is the limit for the Virtual Classroom.

 

35. After enrolling, is it possible to change my specialization?

You can change your specialization as long as the initial common modules of your course are still happening, and as per the norms of MS University.

 

36. Can I undergo some other course simultaneously?

Yes.
